The Crone exists across all cultures and across time. She is not limited by anything. She is Sophia, Goddess of Wisdom. She is Metis Wisdom that ceases to look outside for authority. She is the Dark Mystery, the color of fertile soil, connected inextricably to the teachings of the womb and of birth. She guides us as we confront the turbulence and agony of massive dissolution and transition.
